EH so i’m selling these themes on the Google Marketplace, the first few went great, made ~$3.00 easy the first day, but the the following ones were bad, lost $5.00+
Here’s what happened, the first 3 just accepted payment and when the day of waiting went up before you can charge your customers Google charges all 3 for a dollar, and takes off $0.30 for credit card transactioning, great,
the next 5 downloaded, installed and cancelled payment somehow leave me making no extra money.
Google apprently gives you 24 hours to cancel anything, so if you got an android phone and there is an app which is super expensive, here what you do, install it tell Google you to go ahead and charge you, and then cancel install to forgo the charge, fine.
the next step is to download it again and repeat the process.
free apps everyone? who else wants some?

A compliment to no one
yes.. it would seem as though ..
Wouldn’t it be just a good career to work where there is sure to be a huge market? internet I can see, but from the web pages that I come across, either you’re geek and you can build one yourself or your a huge corporation who has a team working on their corporate image on the internet.. or your maybe a small to medium sized business which needs a website. The web shop Awesome here in town has been offering websites for $499, I can do the same, but I don’t see too many customers.
So anyways the market is a bit saturated, with leads going nowhere for me, here in my town the city is a word of mouth type of merry go round. Different from big cities where we’re looking for a big name to get things done for us.
At present I’m trying to get recommended by people through referral business (which has a bunch of youtube videos just for the ways you can do this.)
In the future, I hope to forget all about the web pages unless for affiliate marketing and just build android and Iphone apps, put them on the marketplace, learn how to promote those, and truly make something of earth shattering importance, check out he Android app for “metal detector” we’re thinking… how? how does this work, but it truly does.
I’m hoping mobile applications are gonna be more widely used in the future, hoping it won’t stop one day cuz cellphones are proven to be as bad as cigarettes. Sometimes the best thing to do is be prepared.

This post is about how I did research about tailors back in the day and what their lives were like. They are great! I love a good tailor like Wing Or.
Y’see back in the olden times Shanghai tailors were known for their superior workmanship. They still are! out of all the tailors you could be quite satisfied with a Shanghai Tailor made.
However there was a time when they were at war with Indian Tailors. Indian tailors would make you a suit but throw in a shirt and a tie, and charge you less. They just wanted to do volume. People have told me they’ve bought a suit in India in recent time, and the deal still applies, but I remember them saying their shirts would fall apart in the wash.
Shanghai tailors are super famous, take Dave for example, making suits for stars all over the world, he’s a master, and doesn’t have to work to hard either cuz one of his suits can cost 10k,
So i’m debating what road to take, and I think to myself, as a web designer, perhaps money will come later.
